I AM CANCER-FREE

Yes, it is true...for the past few months, really starting in November 2022, I have been on my own healing journey, and I am finally on the other side! It hasn't been a secret, and I have been as honest and transparent as possible, while still protecting my heart and loved ones. It is probably why this is my first post in a long time!

My daughter and I were in a truck-totalling , life-altering accident at the end of November 2022. It was a miracle that we both walked away, and a tragedy that two beautiful female elk lost their lives. As a result, I was unable to be as mobile and active as I usually am...and then I got a sinus infection...and then I felt a lump in my throat that would not go away. After months of testing and a ton of different doctor's appointments, I was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma, and then something more aggressive and serious called diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. So, it was a VERY weird few months of R-CHOP chemotherapy and immunotherapy. There is much more to this story, and I am working on a little booklet/guidebook about the experience, but as of a couple months ago, I am free of any cancer cells and plan to keep it that way! I am SO grateful for my support system and SO proud of my mind/body!

What does this have to do with my practice? Well, a lot. My whole life has changed in the past year! I am so happy to be alive and healthy, and I really want to embrace what I have learned, in order to help as many people as possible. In order to focus on getting and staying healthy, I decided NOT to take insurance, as of the end of last year. If you would like to learn more, please reach out and I will explain. For current and future clients, I will continue to keep reasonable rates, and send superbills to submit to insurance. Going forward, my practice will be focused on: Highly Sensitive Persons, neurodivergent people and the people who love them, and people recovering from medical/physical trauma-including cancer, surgery, accidents, chronic pain/illness, etc.
